After my venture into the MAC world with my first EVER MAC lipstick recently, I think I might have started an unaffordable love for lipstick. So, when I heard that one of my fellow bloggers was selling a Dior lipstick, Sprig Ball, I had to try it!
I love nude/pink lipsticks as they are so wearable, much more for me than bright colours; however much I wish I could wear them more, it’s just not realistic. This gorgeous Dior Addict Spring Ball lipstick is a super pretty nude/pink.
I love, love, love the packaging, however baffling I initially found it, not being able to pull it apart (don’t laugh). I just love the luxury feel to the packaging and quite controversially, much more than I love the MAC lipstick packaging, which to me seems a little cheap looking!?
Once open, the lipstick looks gorgeously rich and moisturising, as you can see in the pictures. It almost looks like the same texture as my favourtie lip balm of all time from Nivea (post to follow). So I was really excited about applying it, as it looked like it would be kind to my lips and offer a lot of moisture. There’s nothing worse than a lipstick that dries and dehydrates your lips.
I wasn’t disappointed with how this lipstick looked or felt and even though it really is a ‘my lip colour but better’ lipstick shade, I’m thrilled with it and have worn it every day since I bought it. It was certainly worth the money!
Do you own a Dior lipstick? Which shade should I try next? I’m excited to add to my collection!
