The W7 Magic Eyes Mascara is the second product from W7 that I’ve added to my makeup collection lately and as mascaras go, it had a lot to prove. Like all of us, we tend to have our favourites, but every now and then like to try something different, to see if we can achieve similar or better looks, on a smaller budget.
Magic Eyes is available on various online stores, including here for just £1.50, which is an absolute steal and although I wasn’t immediately drawn to the colour of the wand, it did remind me of Rimmel’s Scandal Eyes and actually the name ‘Magic Eyes’ does seem to be a bit of a play on it too! So I was really curious to see how this budget mascara performed.
I absolutely love the spiral wand bristles; it instantly looked like it would separate and provide clump free lashes and I am really pleased to say, it did! After just one coat, as pictured above, my lashes were perfectly separated and looked naturally beautiful. It’s really build-able too and after another coat, my lashes started to look thicker in appearance.
I wouldn’t go so far as to say that this mascara is going to give you a ‘wow’ false lash look, but it certainly gave mine a natural make over; making them look natural, but better! With a little added cat flick or straight liner, it would look even more stunning and as promised, clump free.
For a budget everyday mascara, I would recommend W7 Magic Eyes. It’s effective and easy on the pocket!
