Today I wanted to share with you a really gorgeous and non-expensive way to personalise a gift for a special someone this Christmas. I’ve not been a huge fan in the past of name necklaces or having initials on things, until I got married and my friend made my jewellery. She added my new initials to the bracelet and necklace extender chain and it was such a lovely touch. I think if it is done tastefully, it can look really, really lovely.
Since then I’ve been keen to find something non-expensive, with my initial on it, which looks special but is also suitable to be worn every day, unlike my wedding jewellery, which is locked safely away for Grace to see one day!
The Personalised Hammered Gold Bangle* from Belle Ami at Not on the High Street, comes in silver or gold for just £14.50, plus any initials or charms you want to add. You can have any initial you like (up to 4), with one letter being included in the price and additional letters costing £5 each. You can then add a couple of charms, which are an additional £3 each, choosing from an open star, hammered heart, apple, pine cone, flower, cloud, bow or Eiffel tower.
I went for the gold bangle, with a letter C and hammered heart charm and it looks simply gorgeous! The bangle measures 0.35cm thick and 6.5cm inside and although I have quite small hands and wrists, it fits perfectly without risk of falling off, on my right wrist.
The bangle arrived gift wrapped in pink tissue paper, in a cute black organza bag with tie and would be such a lovely gift for an lady this Christmas.
Are you thinking of making a gift personalised this Christmas? Is there anyone you know that would love to receive this pretty personalised bangle?
