The Pond’s Institute Eye Contour Cream is something that I was particularly looking forward to trying. Being a mum and an expectant mum, I’ve been feeling a looking a little tired lately, so trying this product was most welcome!
What Pond’s Institute Say
“Pond’s Institute has developed an eye contour cream without perfume. The formula is enriched with vitamins and essential nutrients to achieve a double action: care for delicate eye area and help reduce puffiness while smoothing the skin.”
I love the packaging of this eye cream. Really subtle, clean and fresh. The idea is to apply this to the eye area morning and night to help reduce puffiness and smooth the skin. I was really looking forward to trying it as recently I’ve started to notice some more fine lines around my eyes and also having a toddler and expecting another baby, sleep is a thing of the past, so my eyes are pretty puffy in the mornings.
I used to use an eye gel from AVON and would put it in the fridge for an added cool effect when applying, so I did the same with this one. Once you take it out of the fridge and apply in the morning, usually when I’m making my morning coffee, it has such an amazing cooling effect and instantly feels as though it’s relaxing and calming the skin in this delicate area.
What Do I Think?
This eye contour cream feels like such a treat, especially in the mornings. So much so that it’s become a firm staple in my morning routine. A little dab whilst I’m also grabbing for the milk is all it takes and applying it at this time also gives it time to sink in before I apply my makeup too.
As for how well it smooths the skin and reduces puffiness, it’s quite hard to say really. My eyes do feel more relaxed and refreshed but as for overall appearance, it’s difficult to comment.
I really like this product and am a regular user, so if you feel like your eyes need a refresh and like the idea of reducing puffiness and smoothing fine lines too, then this is certainly worth a try. Available from here for just £7.80, I think it’s certainly worth a buy.
Do you use a regular eye contour cream? Do you think you’d like to give this one a try?
