Estee Lauder Sheer Roller Gloss

I treated myself last week to a little lip gloss heaven; Estee Lauder’s Roller Gloss in Squeeze. I’ve been after a new lip gloss for a while and have heard good things about the Estee Lauder range, so thought I’d give one a try.

I’m not sure how widely these are now available as Squeeze was part of the Bronze Goddess Summer 2013 Collection and I can’t see them on Estee Lauder’s site any more, but you can buy it from here for just £17.07. I opted for this shade as it looked like a ‘my lips but better’ option and I thought it would be the perfect daytime look for Spring.

First Impression

So I was really excited when it arrived in it’s iconic blue packaging (I’ve not owned anything by Estee Lauder before). The gloss bottle itself is glass which makes it feel weighty and quality and what I really love about it is that the roller ball itself is metal, which means it always feels cool against the lips. So nice!

Squeeze is a pretty pinky shade that when applied is sheer with a pretty shine and hint of colour. Don’t be scared by the look of the colour in the bottle as it really is sheer like it states and won’t look solid pink on your lips. As you can see from my swatch the hint of pink is really pretty and just as I thought; perfect for daytime lips.

When applying the gloss, as I said the metal roller sweeps across the lips with ease feeling cool as it goes and you really don’t need much product before you have great coverage. The gloss isn’t sticky and feels really nourishing too, which is superb.

What Do I Think?

I really, really like this lip gloss. I’m not a fan of gloss that is sticky and this one is anything but. It makes my lips feel soft and moisturised, really lasts and also tastes of watermelon too. Yum!

I was really late in arriving at the Bronze Goddess Summer Collection party (only by about 2 years!) and really wish I’d heard of it before and been able to get my hands on some of the other products in the range, as this one is faultless.

For my first Estee Lauder product, I’m really impressed and will definitely be looking to try something else in the future. How about you? Have you tried this gloss or anything else in the range?

This sounds gorgeous I absolutely love a glossy lip lately just not when my hair sticks to it so it’s good to know it doesn’t feel sticky on application x
