Little Ondine & Popbands Review, Discount Code & Giveaway!

I’ve got a really lovely post for you today! There are two products that I’ve been really looking forward to talking to you about plus to top it off, I’ve got not only a great discount code if you want to try them too but also a fantastic giveaway! Exciting!

The two great products that I want to chat to you about today are Little Ondine and Popband, both new brands added to the Beauty Crowd portfolio. What I love about both of these products and what made me want to try them is that they both offer a solution to three of my beauty hates and in my opinion they’ve slotted perfectly into their own little gaps in the market pretty amazingly.

Bye Bye Acetone & Stained Nails

Little Ondine is a new range of gorgeous nail colours composed of natural resin, organic colourants and water. What makes these pretty special is because they’re water based, they take just minutes to dry and thanks to the special formula are also peelable. Yes peelable! Meaning if you’re making a trip somewhere, with Little Ondine in your beauty kit you can take one less product with you. Bye bye acetone and stained nails!

I’ve recently tried two of the sixteen shades; Honeymoon*, a gorgeous bright pink and Waltz*, a pretty clear polish packed with gorgeous glitter pigments. Both absolutely stunning in the flesh!

As we all know pink is my ‘go to’ nail colour, fingers or toes, so this colour is right up my street. First Love is also really pretty too and a little less neon than Honeymoon.

My toe nails were in need of a spruce up so I decided to try Honeymoon on my toes first and wow is the colour striking! This hot pink also has the most amazing shine I’ve seen and walks all over the Infallible Nails polish I tried recently. The shine on this is incredible and doesn’t dull at all. So this is way more gel like than any other polish I’ve tried to date and if you’re like me and love shine, this will be music to your ears.

So along with drying really quickly, which allowed me to apply the two layers I needed to, the amazing thing about Little Ondine is that it’s peelable. This is such a great time saver and means I don’t have to get out the acetone too. Plus it makes changing your nail look so quick and easy and the look doesn’t chip either! Day 4 of wearing waltz on my nails I was doing up my daughters car seat of all things and the whole nail popped off, which was fine as I just quickly peeled the others off too so they didn’t look messy! Much nicer than getting chips here and there I’m sure you’ll agree.

Waltz is the second shade I’ve tried which is so, so pretty. It’s packed with different size glitter pigments and makes each nail look unique. It looks great added over the top of Honeymoon too. The only problem for me with random glitter is I’m not very good at ‘random’ and end up spending ages getting an equal’ish amount of glitter on each nail. Worth it though!

Dented Hair No More

My second beauty hate is when I have to tie my hair up at night because I’m hot or during yoga to keep it out of my eyes and when I take the band out I’m left with kinky hair. With Popbands this is no longer a problem. Tie your hair up in the same way as before and they’re easy to remove and leave your hair dent free. Perfecto!

Popbands come in ten different variety packs and I tried Meadow, which consists of pink, green, blue and two floral bands. The packs are so bright and colourful you’ll find it hard to choose just one.

Along with using the bands to tie my hair up, I’ve also used them to decorate a simple, messy bun and worn them on my wrist when not in use. You never know when you might need a hair band!

Theses bands are really soft and really gentle on the hair making them a fantastic addition to my hair accesories and I may just have to try the Unicorn pack next!

I Really love both of these products and feel they really help me with three of my beauty hates. Would you say you have similar hates and that these are total life saviours?!
