Christmas Gift Guide For Her

Christmas Gift Guide for her
So we’re into December now and if we haven’t already, it’s probably time that we all started thinking about Christmas gifts! I notoriously find Christmas gift purchasing tricky; so many people to buy for, so much choice but also budget is a massive consideration, so any help or inspiration I can get from anyone else is always massively welcome.

So that’s why I thought I’d put together some items that I’ve come across in my search over the last few weeks, that may very well help you in yours. None of these will break the bank and I think there’s very possibly something for everyone and perfect for those special ladies in our lives as individual gifts or for adding to a gift you may already have in mind.

So I thought I’s start this gift guide with a piece of jewellery. Every lady loves receiving jewellery at Christmas, I know I certainly do, and this multi row necklace from Chained+Able is really lovely. It comes in silver or gold, with three chains of varying lengths and two pendants; a turquoise stone bar and a small circle. This particular piece is really pretty and delicate and is also a must have fashion piece.

Layering necklaces are everywhere at the moment, they have been for a while, but the joy now is instead of layering up our own collection (and the risk of getting them all tangled!), there’s now an abundance to choose from that are already layered for you, with just one clasp. It’s not groundbreaking but sure is handy! Chained+Able isn’t a brand I was familiar with until my Christmas gift search, but they have some really lovely pieces so definatley worth checking out.

Head Wear

Moving on from jewellery, how about a beanie, to help keep heads warm during the Christmas day ‘after a large roast lunch’ walk and beyond? The range of Esam Beanie‘s from Finisterre come in a variety of colours including Fox (a browny/red), Dune (a gorgeous yellow) and Storm (bluey/green, featured here) and are perfect for her or his heads alike. These chunky knits with amble sized pom pom are made from a wool/alpaca blend, making them super warm and comfortable and who doesn’t love a bobble hat!

Finisterre have some other great gift ideas this year, including brightly coloured sock bundles, exclusively created prints and cute underwear sets. If you’ve not visited their site before, then you really should.

Onto cosmetics now and in particular, compacts and what better than a compact that combines a perfecting powder and a lipstick; like the Joan Collins Timeless Beauty Compact Duo. Timeless Beauty do a range of combined compacts, but this has to be my favourite. This compact combines a pressed powder and lipstick of your choice, which makes it not only the perfect handbag essential for the party season but also, you can tailor your gift to your recipients lipstick shade choice.

With 16 shades to choose from, there will definatley be something for everyone. The shade featured here is Crystal, which I already own and love; it’s the perfect Christmas red! So for me, combining this with a powder perfect for blotting on a night out, this is a must have handbag essential – and I’m sure your loved ones will agree. Or, you could just treat yourself!

Together with Prosecco cosmetic products that have become a real thing lately, I love this Pink Fizz Lip Balm from Oliver Bonas. It’s mix of shea and cocoa butter making this cutely packaged lip balm the perfect ‘stocking filler’ gift this Christmas for any lady who loves lip products. Not only does it leaves super soft and moisturised but also slightly sparkly. A gorgeous addition to any gift.

Finally, what about a gorgeous new purse? This textured pouch in a midnight blue/black shade (also available in silver) has compartments for cards and cash and is a cross between a day and evening purse. It’s really individual with it’s textured outer casing and is a great size for all the essentials.

I love how this purse is pretty glam. So many can be dull and standard where purses are concerned, so why not add a little glamour to your loved ones daytime accessories! Oliver Bonas have some other great gift ideas too, including hair clips, coin purses, scarves and homeware items; I especially love their hexagon wine rack! If you’ve not heard of Oliver Bonas before, they’re definitely work a look for lots of inspiration, across a range of price brackets.

So that’s it for this gift guide for her. Was there anything on here that you think you might source for someone you love? Or maybe a brand/company you’d not come across before? I’d love to hear. A gift guide for him will follow, which I hope will also give you some ideas for those even tricker guy gifts this Christmas! In the mean time, happy shopping!
