So we all know I’m a lover of nail polish and when asked to take a look at the Leighton Denny range, I couldn’t wait to give them a whirl. Their range of shades is pretty impressive and with my love of pink polish ever strong, I thought I’d try Pillow Talk (a berry shade; red with a hint of pink) and Creme De La Creme (a beautifully nude/cream/sheer shade).
Pillow Talk was the first shade I tried, which covers really well after just one coat, pictured below. The brush on these polishes are thin and flexible making it easy to brush neat strokes down the nail and curve around your cuticles.
The formula dries really quickly, much like the No7 Gel finish range I really like; which is just perfect for busy mums – or anyone on the go really! I think I was able to bring the washing in off the line after 10 mins which for me is ideal!
This shade itself is described as red, with a hint of pink. I would say it’s more pink than it is red to be honest, but lovely all the same.
Creme De La Creme is also a really pretty shade. It’s really nude, requiring a couple of decent coats to give a true colour and is great for those who would like a no nonsense simple nude. Creme De La Creme is just that.
Have you heard of Leighton Denny? Do you think you’ll give them a try?
