I’ve not tried any new lashes for a while, but I have previously tried and loved Kiss lashes in the past; including Kiss True Volume in Posh, shown here on a subtle date night look. So when asked, I was excited to try the new Lash Couture range. Did you hear Pixie Lott is the new Kiss ambassador too; LOVE her!
This particular range are knot free, combine human and synthetic hair, have tapered soft ends and state that they’re super soft to the touch – all adding to the potential of them being a really natural, blendable lash. Available from Superdrug, in multiple styles, lengths and curls, there’s sure to be something for everyone too.
So the couple styles that I’ve taken a look at are Gala and Midnight; showing one of the Midnight lashes above.
The lashes themselves are dreamy! So soft and light weight, as promised; really delicate, exactly as I’d hoped. The band itself is quite chunky but really flexible when rolling it gently to snugly shape around my eyelid.
Application (with a glue not provided – make sure to not get caught out on that one; as I did at first!), was pretty non eventful in a good way. Easy to apply, no major mishaps.
Out of the two styles, I preferred the feathery finish/ends of Midnight, and Gala also looks feathery but has a much fuller finish.
Overall I’d say these lashes are definitely worth a try. The band could do with being slightly lighter if anything, but if you wear your lashes with a nice black eyeliner anyway, these will blend easily.
Do you think you might give the new Lash Couture range a try?
